Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sebastian Brzeziński ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information across our mobile applications and games (the "Services"). It applies to all of our apps that link to this Policy. Some apps may provide their own separate policy; in that case, the app's own policy applies.

We are committed to data minimisation: most of our apps collect no personal data at all, and we never sell your data. What we process depends on the specific app and the features you use.

To provide and maintain the Services, deliver features you request, send notifications you enable, keep the Services secure, and improve them. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and our apps do not display ads.

Where applicable, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the app and its features), legitimate interests (security, diagnostics, improvement), consent (where required, e.g. analytics), and legal obligations.

4. Payments

All purchases and subscriptions are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) on iPhone and iPad, and by Google Play (Google Play Billing) on Android. We do not receive or store your payment details.

5. Sharing & processors

We do not sell or trade your personal data. Where an app stores data in the cloud, we use Google Firebase as a processor (hosting may be in the United States; Firebase is GDPR-compliant). We may disclose information if required by law.

5a. Text-to-speech (accessibility apps)

Some apps, in particular our communication aid Lumen, can generate natural-sounding speech. To do this, the words and phrases to be spoken are sent to ElevenLabs, Inc., a text-to-speech provider, which returns audio that is then cached on your device for offline reuse. Only the text to be spoken is transmitted, with no personal identifiers attached; ElevenLabs processes it under its own privacy policy (elevenlabs.io/privacy). A built-in offline system voice can be used instead, in which case no data is sent anywhere. Symbols, custom tiles, any photos added by a caregiver, and word-prediction data in these apps are stored only on the device and are not collected by us.

5b. Weather and maps (travel guides)

On iPhone, our island travel guides show the local weather using Apple WeatherKit. To return the forecast, the fixed coordinates of the island are sent to Apple, never your own location. Apple processes them under its Weather terms (weatherkit.apple.com/legal-attribution.html). We receive no identifying information from this.

On Android, the weather comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) (api.met.no). Here too, only the fixed coordinates of the island are sent, never your own location. The map in the Android apps is provided by Google Maps, which processes map requests under Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

5c. Games (Shelter 7)

Our text adventure Shelter 7 collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it sends nothing over the internet. Your story progress and settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Alerts telling you that a character has arrived are local notifications scheduled on your device; they do not pass through our servers, and you can turn them off in iOS Settings. The voice messages and sounds are pre-recorded and included in the app.

5d. Nalewki (homemade liqueur recipes)

Nalewki collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it works offline. Your batches, the dates of the steps you have completed and your settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Reminders about the next steps are local notifications scheduled on your device; they do not pass through our servers, and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings. If you share a recipe, it is sent as plain text through the iOS share sheet to the app and recipient you choose; we do not receive it. Purchases are handled by Apple (see section 4).

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. For apps with accounts, your data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing contact_mobile@icloud.com.

7. Your rights

Where applicable (e.g. under GDPR), you may access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port your data, and withdraw consent. Contact us at contact_mobile@icloud.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

Most of our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

LullaBook (bedtime stories, lullabies and sleep sounds) is made for families: children listen to the stories, while parents or guardians manage the app, its settings and any purchases. LullaBook does not ask for or collect personal information from children. There is no registration, no names or photos, no chat or sharing with other users, no ads and no advertising identifiers. To work, the app uses an anonymous technical sign-in (Firebase Authentication) and anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) with advertising ID collection and ad personalization turned off. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google and require the parent's store account.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at contact_mobile@icloud.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected here with a new date above.
